PhD defense Sanne Böing
Friday June 20th Academiegebouw Domplein Utrecht.

How do patients with acquired brain injury employ their visual working memory to efficiently perceive and use visual information? Do conventional neuropsychological tasks tell the whole story or should we move on to novel paradigms? During the course of het PhD Sanne found out whether eye movement behavior can give insights in underlying (working) memory deficits after acquired brain injury, and whether and how this relates to findings on tasks used in standard neuropsychological assessment.
Doors to the defense hall will open from 09:45 until 10:00 — NOTE: doors close strictly at 10:00, so be on time! At 10:00, Sanne will give a “layman’s talk”, in which she presents the work featured in her dissertation. The official ceremony will start at 10:15 and ends around 11:25.
Afterwards you will have the opportunity to congratulate Sanne at the reception, until approximately 12:30.
